What we liked
- This Best Choice Products umbrella has a colorful good quality canopy (210g) fade, water, weather, and UV resistance. You have ten colors to choose from, making it easy to get a color that blends best with your other garden, patio, deck, or pool décor (outdoor décor), and its color won’t fade quickly.
- Easy to open via a crack mechanism and has an easy tilt system. Just lift the handle and move it up or down to tilt your umbrella.
- It won’t heat up and will allow wind to escape, thanks to the large vent it has.
- You get four free ground stakes and an extra pole knob for better support, especially when the wind blows.
- The powder-coated, scratch-resistant aluminum frame (ribs and pole) will not rust, chip, corrode, or peel, making it very durable.
Downside
- There is trouble with the cup attached to the ribs, which guides the umbrella canopy to position as you open it. It tends to be loose and doesn’t mesh with the center pole that runs from the top of the middle of the canopy, exposing a sharp edge that may snip or wear out the string with time.
- It has some plastic parts such especially on the pivot that becomes loose
- Not ideal for places with high winds as it shifts even to the mild breeze. Many users have reported that it snaps.

Our verdict
If you need a large, affordable umbrella, this BCP umbrella is an excellent buy, worth every penny you use on it. However, don’t buy it if you live in windy places as it isn’t very sturdy and may break sooner. Also, it does have weak and fragile plastic parts that will yield quickly.
